Good service, food was limited due to kitchen issues. Fairly quiet.

Shepherds pie was overcooked and burnt round the edges so returned and replaced Parking: Plenty of parking

Nice busy pub seemed popular. Enjoyed my chicken wings and decent pint

Food was OK but barman bit miserable! As a first time visitor he seemed more interested in serving his mates

Came here at the end of our walk. It's a very convenient place for a pint as it is right next to the railway station where we get the train home. I have eaten here a few times on previous occasions and always got the 3 course daytime special they do for under £12 which is excellent value for money. They also have a reasonable range of beers.
