The Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island, Portland's original

Poor quality control. Last year in June 2022 I purchased a large bag of their kettle corn. The day after I opened the bag & discovered the kettle corn was stale. I checked the expiration date on the label & it had expired 3mo. prior. I called the market and advised an employee to check the remaining bags. The employee advised he would. Two weeks later I returned to purchase fresh vegetables and checked the kettle corn display out of curiosity. I discovered several expired bags were still on the display. This year, two days before the market closed for the season, I purchased two small jars of the Pumpkin Patch Jam (Oct 30, 2023). One as a gift and the other for me. Three days ago (Nov. 17, 2023) I opened my jam to discover the contents were rancid. I searched for an expiration date and found the expiration date of 03/02/23 stamped on the edge of the metal lid. UNBELIEVABLE! I recalled the day I removed the jars from the display shelf to purchase, the shelf was full as if the jam had just been re-stocked. I called my friend and learned they had already tossed their jar because it displayed the same expiration date. I'm guessing the product is going to continue to set on the shelf while the market is closed for the season until the Pumpkin Patch opens again in June 2024 at which time others will buy the already expired product. DISGUSTING!!!

Beautiful maze, new design certain years. Has barn animals, hay ride and marketplace along with kettle corn and Carmel apples. Beautiful layout.

Been coming here for 6 years and it’s still the only pumpkin patch we go to. Free admission, plenty of parking, gorgeous produce and fun pumpkin picking.

Really good corn maze,animal barn and fun tractor ride to the pumpkins. A bunch of food options as well

edit: back up to four stars! got a refund for the tickets, craig was very forthcoming - just a heads up for anyone else who might be confused, if youve got tickets to the corn maze, they wont let you in after 5pm! Couldnt find any info on the website directly about a close off time, but its definitely possible I mightve overlooked it. Had a very good time here otherwise, fed a corn cob to a llama named poo bear. Good lesson for me to doublecheck everything before buying 9 tickets to something, aha
