Welcome to The Prior, originally named “The Colonel Prior” after Colonel Prior, the chairman of Sunderland AFC from the 1930’s until the 1950’s. We’ve just undergone a major refurbishment and investment to make us the best pub in Moorside! We pride ourselves on being family and dog friendly with great deals on our food every day. We also have a fantastic drinks range with cask ales, fine wines and spirits. We look forward to seeing you.
