Don't know if it was an off-night or if this place has really slipped, but we had visited TPR several times prior and this time was a real disappointment. Our waiter was somewhat standoffish -- seemed like he did not want to be there. He screwed up a couple simple drink orders and seemed put out when we asked that they be corrected. Entrees were decent (prime rib and veal chop). Spinach was so so and the twice baked potato didn't resemble a twice baked potato -- simply a baked potato with cheese melted on top. We eat out often and understand restaurant prices are up everywhere, but they seem to have really jumped here. At these prices ($450 for the two of us with no wine), it's reasonable to expect an excellent experience and ours was just 'meh.' Sadly, we don't plan to return.
I had a delicious meal. Indulged in the bone in rib eye. They slice it for you. My portion was medium. The other portion was medium rare. Lobster Mac and cheese was tasty and full of Lobster. Drinks were outstanding
I celebrated my Birthday dining at The Prime Rib. The food was superb, the ambiance on point. Had the pleasure of having Mr Nathan as the server. He went above and beyond to make the experience pleasurable. One of my favorite Restaurants for sure.
Food was amazing, but it should not have taken almost 3 hours to get our food! Our waiter was so sweet and nice. But a reservation around 8:00 pm on a Saturday should not end around midnight.
This is the place to feel like a grownup. Live jazz, fantastic food, and friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Be sure to use the super affordable valet service! Parking: $10 valet
The service was amazing however my filet was terrible. It was the worst I've ever had. I asked for it medium and it was well done, extremely well done. The appetizer, salad and sides were mediocre but edible. I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant.
The place was clean and nice. The ambiance was top notch. The food and service were exceptional. They were very open to making certain food accommodations.
