The Post Chicken & Beer

Ok my husband and i got chicken strips 8 piece with a whole order of green chili mac and cheese we shared and it was more then enough. We took food home. I know it seems expensive but you get so much food. We had Maddie as a waitress she was great! Thank you Maddie!

Hot chicken and cold beer, great times! Update!! Took some friends from out of town to the post for lunch, raved about how good it was, I was embarrassed... The menu changed , according to the wait staff the day before, so the web page was wrong. I ordered a chicken sandwich, told that sides were all extra, even though the website menu showed fries or slaw included. So I got a chicken sandwich that could have come from Chick-fil-A for $16. Staff seemed perplexed... Probably not returning, to bad another nice place written off due to economy....

We were loyal customers of the Post, dine in, carry out and delivery. Food quality and serving size has been reduced. Roasted chicken used to be amazing. Service was mediocre. Even my kids questioned why the food came out so fast and I was surprised there was no wait. Now we know why. Very unsatisfying dining experience. Expanding the brand dilutes quality every single time. Inflation driving price increases is fine but keep the quality to keep repeat business.

I visited the location in Longmont and was impressed. This one in Lafayette is as good. Very nicely done on the inside. Very upscale. Beautiful bar area. We tried the dates appetizer and they were ok, probably could have been heated just a little more. I should have gone with the brussel sprouts that I tried at the other location. They were the absolute best I had ever had. This visit I tried their fried chicken. I love good fried chicken and these folks do it very well (since they are "chicken and beer"). Lots more on the menu to try, I look Forward to our next visit. They have other beers than what I have sampled, but so far I'm very happy with their "El corn" lager. This chain is doing very well and shows a lot of promise.

Love this place! Food is delicious! And for our celiac family has always felt safe! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fryers. Chicken and fries are celiac safe! They also have holidaily gf beer!
