The Pompadour

*** Edited to reflect on most recent visit. Was a 5 star, now a 2*** We could not wait to come back based on our first experience and as a result, chose The Pompadour for our Valentines Day dinner. We booked a reservation for a table. It was a late reservation, but we thought it was going to be worth it. The table never became available (I understand that this is not the restaurants fault, but to drive as far as we do to sit at the bar with the uncomfortable seating when we had reservations is not ideal). Then they were out of the dish we were craving most, the short rib ravioli. The amount of disappointment was already great, and there was no gesture to apologize for the inconveniences. As a person that used to manage a bar/restaurant, they should have a contingency plan in place for when reservations run over and menu items run out. Had this been our first visit, we would not be returning. May give it another shot, but not running out the door as quickly as we were previously. My review below was our first experience, which was a five star review. If you go in with the knowledge that you are booking a reservation to sit at the bar and they have all menu items it’s a great experience. But when they don’t, lower your standards or just come back another day. The food and service were PERFECT. We booked a reservation for next week because I don’t think I can live without this place.

Absolutely everything was incredible! The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable. The drinks and food were all made to perfection. If you want to take your taste buds on a culinary journey, this is the place to do it! Be adventurous! I had the Grilled Octopus, and Pork Belly. And my drinks were Lost Highway, and Say My Name.

We love the Pompadour! The food is always amazing and the service is top notch. This is always a great experience and is well worth the drive from anywhere. It is one of our favorites and one of the best restaurants in Cleveland. We love going to the Pompadour!

Food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. Our server Kelly was so knowledgeable, kind and fun. She explained everything and was on top of everyone's orders and drinks. She was amazing!! We will definitely be back.

Best food and cocktails in Lake County! Rotating menu. Cozy, moody, funky atmosphere. Milk punch. Not to be missed.

We visited the Pompadour last night with my father Patrick, from Fairport Harbor. It was such a welcoming cozy environment. The drinks were executed with perfection. The Pomp Mule was a family favorite. The food was exceptional. I cannot say enough about how thoughtful and delicious each menu item was that we ordered. My 6 yo son ordered the duck and it had him head over heals in love!

The best of the best. I’ve never had anything I didn’t love there.
