The Poke Co. - Mira Mesa

Great experience! Matthew and Nhi were hilarious ! We came in for late night food and had a lot of laughs while we grabbed our poke bowls. We would come back just to hang out with these two! Good food, great service!!!

This was my second time coming here and both times I placed an order for pick up through UberEATS. The first time I told him my name, I told him my order, and he still wanted proof, like he didn’t believe me. Whatever. The second time, which was a couple hours ago, I was the only person there and it was the only order that was packed on the counter. Told her my name and still wanted proof lol. Which felt unnecessary. I’m a paying customer and to be treated this way is not ok. I’ll be sure to tell my friends about my experience.

Got food poisoning from my lunch. As did most of my coworkers who ordered out.

This place gave me food poisoning.

I’m so sorry for ordering delivery 15 minutes before closing. I had a sick child in the hotel room and I couldn’t leave him to get food. The fish was fresh and plentiful. The medium (3 scoops) was more than enough for me. I also made the mistake of ordering double scallop. Didn’t mean to do that. It was good but I would have preferred the salmon instead. The mango wango something smoothie is fantastic with lychee jelly.

I stopped going even though it’s nearby and I love poke. The staff is all inexperienced kids. Music is too loud. They almost lost a sale because the staff didn’t know piña colada was the same as “pineapple coconut” I got the same guy the next week and he didn’t remember. I overheard the same guy almost lose a sale, because a woman asked about boba and pudding toppings. He misunderstood and talked her out of the sale because he was sure she meant “boba pudding.” I spoke up in her place since I knew for a fact that they have boba. She got the boba drink. I asked for a “little bit” of an item about 4 times in 5 visits and each time I got the same-sized large portion. Follow up: I really wanted Poke today, so I came back after 18 months: 1. music was still too loud & crew still mumbled & didn’t know how to answer other people’s questions 2. I asked for a water cup, they said they don’t do free water. I asked if that was legal, they responded, “I think the owner said it’s cause the cups are too expensive.” … I mean yikes!
