couldn’t recommend this spot more!! we just got engaged and the staff made sure we were celebrated at dinner with some champagne and a coconut dessert. every single dish we got here delivered and had us leaving happy and full bellied. great atmosphere, staff, & food!!
Came here on one of our last nights In Honolulu and it did not disappoint. Food was absolutely delicious!
Extraordinarily salty… foie gras and pho are too salty to eat. Very busy, little service. If you must dine here, oyster is ok, beef in pho is good. But, I’d suggest avoiding until they put less salt. The restaurant is too busy so I don’t think it’s a good option to let the kitchen remake, but I can’t drink any soup even after I put in a cup of water. Plus it’s nonsense to put cold water in pho, it makes comfort food uncomfortable. Enough said.
The pate toast was so good. The french dip Bahn Mi is always great.
I was at first disappointed to sit at the bar. K questioned my reservation internally, but I decided to just enjoy the evening. I’m glad I did. The server at the bar was outstanding; he made the evening.
We ate here while visiting from FL a few weeks ago for our honeymoon and were blown away both with the overall service and the menu execution. Speaking as a chef myself this place is high on my list of recommendations and places to revisit. If you're in Chinatown you have to eat here hands down
Very flavourful and wish I was back just so I could go here.
Restaurant opens at 5:30pm and it fills up quick, so arrive early or make sure you have a reservation! We ordered the Pho Dac Biet to share and it was so flavorful, although a little bit salty for our taste. Would return to the restaurant to try other items! But would have appreciated if the waiter let us know he charged us a plating fee, instead of not telling us beforehand until seeing the check
One of my favorite places to eat on the island!!! We got the Burmese tea salad, chicken rice, and braised pork collar. The salad was so refreshing and full of different textures and flavors. The chicken rice was great too - tender chicken, nice pickled veggies, and yummy chicken fat pandan rice, with a side of broth. But my favorite was the braised pork collar - the pork literally melts in your mouth! Sooo amazing - highly recommend! The service was a bit slow but friendly, and the restaurant was quite bustling on a Saturday early afternoon. Definitely get a reservation ahead of time!
