The Pho 2

Tried the banh mi and it was excellent. Great place for a quick stop if your looking for lunch/sandwich or other Thai cuisines. Was just passing through on my way to Penn so I had to grab something quick, but it was excellent. Saw some patrons with really interesting and quality looking dishes while I was waiting. Definitely seemed authentic. Looking forward to going back to try some of the other items on the menu.

Very comforting and warm pho. The portion was huge which was very surprising.

Easily the worst pho restaurant I’ve ever been too. Eating this soup for over 30 years, in general it’s a great meal. Pho 2 on the other hand is run by people who truly hate their customers and cooking. 1. The broth is some knock off not using star anise - saves money? Terrible. 2. Inwas the first customer of the day and they brought me bean sprouts that were 3 days old. 3. They literally used spaghetti moods instead of rice vermicelli noodles in the standard pho hoa. 4. The indian waitresses clearly don’t eat this food, had troubling unlocking the front door, and have no conception of refunding a customer. I’d eaten here a few times as it was on the way home. Never again. This is where capitalism needs to drive an inferior business out of the marketplace. Terrible.

Ordered shrimp summer rolls ($8 for 2 pieces) and a bahn mi ($10) for takeout. Good portions, good price, tasty.
