The Perch Kitchen and Tap

I came here for a birthday brunch and was not disappointed! We came right when it opened so it wasn’t busy but it really started to fill up so I’d recommend getting a reservation on the weekends. I loved all the food we got, especially the cinnamon roll and the portions were good! My only complaint was the fruit situation. All the fruit came with tajin even though it wasn’t specified on the menu and when we asked to switch it out we were told they only do that today because they had set some aside for a kids party later…I just felt like they should either make it obvious the fruit comes with tajin from the get go or make sure to have tajin free fruit. Overall, a great experience though and the in house brewing was a cool addition to the atmosphere and menu!

Really good comfort food for brunch. Tasty Bloody Mary. Had the cheese curds which were phenomenal. The eggs Benedict was also amazing. The wicker park omelette was pretty good. The food and drinks came out super fast. One of the biggest misses was no cappuccino. Kind of odd for a place to offer brunch and not have an espresso machine. Seems like they're missing a big opportunity there. The other is the extra $2 for shrimp on the bloody... It was a tiny piece of shrimp. Would like to see a jumbo one if it's going to be a single piece. Patio seating is available as well as a heated patio area which I found to be very neat on a sunny but chilly day. We live nearby so we'll be back at some point I'm sure

Food and drinks were excellent. The wood oven smell was delicious from the first step into the building. Worth the trip from downtown.

We had The Perch's brunch restaurant week menu (2023) and a couple of plates from their regular menu. From RW, first I had the rose sangria, which was super refreshing and a great brunch cocktail. The lobster deviled eggs were nothing special, just ok. To finish off, one of the most delicious brunch plates I've had was their blackbird benny — just an amazing combination of flavors and a unique way to make eggs benedict. From the regular menu, I highly recommend the prime rib hash, it was outstanding!

Great atmosphere for any group. Dates, dinner with adults, or meals with the whole family. Incredibly accommodating staff, great service, tasty food & drink, and fun environment. We’ll be back soon!
