El lugar hermoso y la comida deliciosa.
Order the mozz sticks! They are housemade and delish! Had those, spaghetti and Sunday gravy, eggplant parm, and the tiramisu for dinner tonight. All fabulous. After six hours of driving to get here, this meal hit the spot. Service was friendly and quick. If we were locals, this would be a weekly visit. Maybe we will come back tomorrow for the gnocchi special…
We went to Vinnie’s to just grab dessert but the pasta looked so amazing we had to try it! We split the spaghetti with the Sunday gravy and it was outstanding! The meatballs and sausage were both delicious. This meal was definitely comfort food. He had a cocktail that was good but not special. Would recommend the cannoli (delicious) over the cheesecake (a bit dry). Nicole was a great waitress, very knowledgeable and helpful. Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly!
Stopped in for a quick dinner. Dalton was great! Took very good care of us! Food was good!
Best Italian restaurant I've been to in awhile.
Edit: I have been back, with family, and without taking the Vinnie’s offer (in the reply). The experiences as well as the meals I have had since then have lived up to my prior expectations! This used to be a five star restaurant, but my last two experiences have been progressively worse, after tonight I may only DoorDash this place anymore. I feel like giving 3 stars is just based solely on the nostalgia of past experiences. The entrees still remain great, but that’s really it. Most of the appetizers have dropped off a cliff!!! (Examples: mussels have 1/3 of the shells without any meat in them, and only a small % of those empty shells end up with the meat actually on the bottom of the dish. The “famous” garlics knots are dry and chewy with not much more than an overly bitter garlic flavor. The good appetizers are the meatballs, calamari, and arancini.) The “Family Neighborhood Italian” feel is no longer there with dismissive hostess’s, no welcoming to the restaurant, and mediocre service. I had to personally refill my water glass twice from the server table, and they messed up our beer and appetizer orders. It was very cold outside, yet they filled the outside seating first leaving the people waiting to get in to hover around our table. After getting there before opening we waited 45 minutes to get a table, but they continued to leave the 5 most visible tables from the host stand open for 2 whole hours! They desperately need new management and front of house staff or they will continually lose business.
Extremely mediocre! Not hardly worth the prices. I love garlic knots, but I ended up throwing these away after trying one which is sacrilidge!! They were hard even after heating up. Also, they can't even be bothered to make fresh pasta noodles at $20+ an entree??? On top of that charging extra for ToGo orders. Small portions as well for the price. Honestly comparable to Olive Garden :( I'm shocked at all of the great reviews. Maybe you need to dine in for a better experience. Service was great though.
Vinnie’s is a must when we visit Asheville. Love everything about this place. Food and service is exceptional!
Best Italian food in Asheville. The Greek salad, mozz sticks , and linguine w shrimp scampi was all amazing. Tbh haven’t had a bad dish yet here, the only thing better was the service. Our waiter Dalton was amazing and a kind soul, if only my fiancé was as attentive to me as the service here !
