The Original Third Eye - The Best Restaurant in Manchester

We ordered a takeaway for 8 people. We had ordered from the Third Eye twice previously and the orders were incomplete or incorrect. This time l requested that the order was carefully checked, l was flippantly told it had been . When we got it home there was no chicken dopiaza , chicken passanda in its place , only one pilau rice, we'd ordered 2, 4 naan bread , we'd ordered one. The lamb chops were tough and some inedible. The website claim of complimentary poppadoms on orders over £10 is also incorrect. Our order was £176.00 and we didn't qualify. l have phoned and left a message but haven't had a reply. Very disappointing for an award winning restaurant.

It was bad, not authentic at all. Not worth the distance like just go to the city centre it has so much better options for Indian food than this restaurant.

Absolutely stunning food! Waiters were great, lovely selection of wine. Really authentic Nepalese dishes, we got to try things we'd never eaten before. The waitress was really helpful advising us on dishes. Everything was so flavorsome and not at all greasy. Highly recommend! My only note was the lighting was a little bright, but the food more than made up for it

Our friends (who were regulars) treated us to this family owned, award winning restaurant ...and we were impressed!..The food was delicious, in particular the Makhni Chicken, Makhni Daal, Kebabs, Lamb Chops, Momos, Nepalese Salad, amongst the many dishes that we really enjoyed. Recieved fabulous service from Mel and all her friendly staff...who were very helpful and knowledgeable, always greeting you with a smile, thank you ...its a cozy friendly atmosphere..(loved the art/decoration) and we definitely will be returning here again to try the other delicacies on the menu. 10/10 all round :-).

My friend took me here on my visit to Manchester and I enjoyed it so much I took another friend the next night. Fresh, tasty food, knowledgeable and friendly servers, very reasonable prices.

Visiting from Cornwall. The Prawn Madras and Garlic Naans were the best I have ever had. Perfection. Cannot recommend the quality and service highly enough. Superb. Thank you very much indeed I really enjoyed and will definately be back on my next trip.

Very friendly and courteous customer service in spite of it being busy this evening. Curry was tasteful and fulfilling. I would recommend this to friends and couples.
