The Original Hot Bagels

My spouse and I have literally come here multiple times and every single time they get the order wrong or mixed up. We’ve had to eat our incorrect bagel orders multiple times due to how hectic and chaotic this place is every time we go. I’m not sure where the disconnect is between reading the ticket and completing the order as the ticket is correct everytime. Horrible customer service honestly.

Want to like this place but it’s consistently disappointing. Ordering anything other than a meat-egg-cheese or heaven forbid ordering multiple items inevitably leads to our order being wrong. They can get very busy, so I understand things can get lost in translation or missed sometimes. That being said, this has happened frequently enough that it’s just not worth the hassle anymore.

This place is amazing I’ve been coming here for one year now and everything has been perfect, the food is amazing and the people who work in the front and in the kitchen are wonderful too they always receive me with a smile :) the manager Araceli does her job right and helps whenever there’s a problem. GREAT PLACE!!! :))))

What the heck the way they treated me today was horrible and I ordered exactly at 7am and order here often say three times a week! My husband picked up Starbucks in Hockessin and then I ordered. They advised that they had just opened and that it would take approximately 15 minutes. I explained my husband had a meeting however, could they please rush I received a text from my husband at 7:06 explaining that they hadn’t had bagels delivered yet and could I please come back out so he can go home and prep. No problem I advise him and I got back in my car and went to the shop. I I arrive there at 7:18. I was given my husband‘s sandwich. However, when I asked about my plain cheddar bagel, I was told there were no cheddar bagels. I then said I will take another bagel. I see you have egg This was with the tall young blonde man. However, then a young man who is shorter with dark hair told me I would not be allowed to get any bagel for me and that I would be able to get a refund.. I said I see bagels can’t I just get any bagel for my breakfast? What about me? And he advised no sorry I cannot give you a bagel so here I am at 7:24 almost home and I have no breakfast. It’s why I gave the food one star I can’t even tell you today what it would taste like and this customer service is unacceptable! I can’t understand how they took an order allowed me to go and come back and then REFUSED to give me the order. They certainly didn’t value my time or my business and proved it by their actions. I guess they get so busy it doesn’t matter how they treat people. We just received a response and an apology. We will see what happens next time and we will possibly revise review. We will keep you posted! Went here for fresh bagels and a poppy seed with sausage, egg and cheese bagel sandwich. The prices aren’t cheap however the quality is very good and the bagels are very fresh. While not made there they are delivered. They have lots of cream cheese varieties and cold drinks and coffees. It’s a great weekend treat

These bagels are freaking delicious! They're huge too. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Support local businesses. Starbucks has enough money. Not to mention their food doesn't hold a candle to this bagel shop.

This shop has the very best bagels in the area. Very fresh and the perfect consistency for either sandwiches or toasting. The owners and staff are so kind and welcoming and the cream cheeses are fantastic. Highly recommend a visit for a wonderful, comfort food experience!!! Kitchen is absolutely filthy, there's food ALL over the floor, the grill & vent are dirty, the bottom of the display rack is piled with poppy seeds and crumbs in front of the light. The price wasn't bad but needs better management and cleanliness. Edit : this is not a days worth of crumbs and grime it Months! Absolutely disgusting....
