PSA: The Original closed down in 2020. It is now a hotel bar and restaurant. They do not offer any of the menu items that The Original did. If you're looking for donut sliders or milkshakes.....they don't have that anymore.

Extremely delicious breakfast. I ordered sides because I was starving and wanted everything, including several condiments! I needed soft food because I hurt my front teeth. I got a small biscuits and gravy, which was amazing. The biscuit was so good, I forgot it was a biscuit. I got one egg, which was cooked perfectly, and a little cup of hashbrowns, which were cut in little squares and really good. My server was very nice, and the spicy Bloody Mary's were so good I wanted to stay all day. I knew they would not allow that, so I left.

DO NOT BE FOOLED! This is NOT The Original Dinerant anymore. This is now a common, hotel restaurant with a basic hotel restaurant food menu. Very limited items and absolutely nothing worth making a trip for. The bartender was kind and prompt, but people typically don’t go to a restaurant for a bartender. It seems that the google images and references need updating because this is a totally different place than it was perhaps a year or so ago. I would pass on this. It’s a shame because the employees working don’t deserve this review for our experience. However, people come to town expecting one thing and it’s a complete other, with no mention of this anywhere because the decor is still exactly like all the images you’ve seen. 1/5 - restaurant 5/5 - bar staff

Good DDD spot! Unfortunately, they’ve cut down the breakfast menu a bit but the steak and eggs were good!

Came for the Christmas pop-up and it was great! There is a limited food menu but we liked our dinner. The drinks were very, very good and they even had special fun glassware for each.

Stumbled upon this place and wish we had stumbled right out of there. When we sat down the wait staff immediately started to press my husband to order an alcoholic beverage. It was 10:30am. We politely declined. We were there for breakfast, but had already had coffee before we arrived so only wanted water. We ordered the brisket hash and oatmeal. The oatmeal was watery and when the wait staff asked us our opinion of the food. My husband informed him that, "The porridge was watery, it needs to be cooked with milk or cream." The wait staff then said, "It's oatmeal, not porridge." My husband politely replied, "I'm not going to argue with you." It only takes a quick google search for the Arrogant American to realise OATMEAL IS PORRIDGE and you might like to learn that for next time you have International guests. (It also cost $9.00, which in Australian currency is close to being $18 for disgusting watery slop. This Cooking Teacher was less than impressed and my Grade 7 kids could do a better job.) The attendant tried to talk my husband into buying alcohol 3 times during our sitting. Something else you could learn is responsible service of alcohol and if the customer has said they don't want it once, you don't keep asking. Was not a great start to our day and there's better places a tourist could stumble upon. So glad we'll never have to return.

Went there for breakfast based off the pictures only to discover anything posted more than a year ago (eggs benny included) are no longer on the menu. They REALLY need to update their google listing. I feel very duped and ended up going elsewhere for food. Bartender was amazing.

Limited menu. However, they have a pristine World Cup 94' pinball.

Opening day of the Sippin' Santa event was HUGELY disappointing. No special cups, no Christmas music, scant decorations with lights not even plugged in - for $20 a drink. Falsely advertised. Terrible and 100% lacking any shred of Christmas spirit.
