Great food and generous portions. The service was friendly and efficient. Great Vegan and vegetarian options with creative dishes and deserts. I would prefer the appetizer first, and main courses after, but …. New York!
It's a really nice experience here being able to order from an all-vegetarian/mostly-vegan menu. The food was overall good but a bit inconsistent. The specific dishes we ordered: Sweet sesame rice balls: quite good, crispy on the outside and chewy and tasty inside Steamed BBQ buns: I thought there wasn't enough meat relative to the bread, and the meat itself was fine but a bit bland. Turnip cakes: Flavor was good, but there was something a little odd and chalky about the texture Soup dumplings: really good, my favorite dish we ordered. The filling had a pleasant savory flavor with lots of fake meat.
