My best friend HATES Mexican food because she has a severe allergy to cilantro. But we can have this food anytime. They are able to accommodate her and still give me the best food too. I love spicy food, with lots of cilantro, so it's great that we can both enjoy it. She always gets the salmon. I love the chips and salsa and accidentally filled up on that. I did have the corn chowder and a salad. Both were fresh and delicious. We got there right at 11 when they opened, and the place filled up around us. It was a random Wednesday, so that was a telling sign that the food is good all around. They had a full bar, but I didn't imbibe, I don't drink during the day, but the marg menu looked amazing. I'll go back for dinner for a full experience!
This is a must visit in the Mesa area! Large portions - we both had leftovers!
I only ate once, perhaps it was just my server. But I'm pretty sure the bus girl visited our table more than my waitress. Place has since funny signs around but not much stood out about the atmosphere. I wondered out loud if it was even owned by Mexicans. Food was good, presentation was great, salsa was fantastic and the rice was amazing! Make a reservation or you're waiting an hour.
The staff was friendly and the food was phenomenal! From the salsa and chips to devouring my Carne Adovada to fighting over the last bite of the cheesecake I was blown away at how delicious every bite was. I would come to Phoenix just for this restaurant.
