The Old Town Junction

My wife and I visited this restaurant twice, for breakfast and dinner. Both times we were amazed by the quality of food and its presentation. We are not strangers to fine dining, but this place stands out even among well known and fancy LA restaurants. We are planning to come there as many times as we can until we try all the dishes. Highly recommend.

Came here after a hike at Whitney Canyon. The food is delicious, we could not stop commenting on it while we were eating. I had the Parisian Gnocchi. The drinks were great; we will definitely be coming back to try their different signature cocktails. Everyone working here is hustling the whole time and they all have great attitudes. Highly recommend ending the meal with the cinnamon bread pudding and a cup of coffee, so so good!

I got the sea bass and it smelled so bad. They said that’s how fresh fish smells but I beg to differ. Fresh fish doesn’t smell up your home or restaurant. The sale of that fish should be illegal. I called the manager and she had an attitude about it stating that’s how fresh fish smells. The junction isn’t even an upscale fish restaurant and I’ve been to upscale fish restaurants with world renowned chefs and I have never been brought a sea bass that smelled like it had been dead in the wild for a few days before bringing it to my table. Ever. Haven’t been back since.

The food was great. It’s a little pricey, but I enjoyed everything we ate.

Absolutely LOVED it here. Probably some of the nicest bartenders I've encountered in years. Great drinks, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere. Pastrami could have been a little more flavorful, but I'm glad I tried it.

All I can say about Old Town Junction was that it was busy. The atmosphere was great, hostess was super welcoming, and that’s probably why the 1.5 hr wait.
