The Old Spaghetti Factory

Birthday party for granddaughter. Food great, large party with plenty of room. Service with a smile. Enjoyed ourselves. Parking: Right out the front door.

This is hard for me to establish, however, the past 3 services have been an extreme let down. Do not get me wrong the head waiter and the upfront manager did an amazing job correcting mistakes but the food and quality of our normal waiter/waitresses have gone extremely downhill and not up to par of what I know spaghetti factory to be. I get the same thing near every time, lasagna, Ceasar salad and ice cream. The past few times the Ceasar salad has tasted extremely sour, the lasagna has tasted like wet rubber with watered down sauce but the ice cream tasted great… but it’s ice cream so I would hope that of all things, that this would be fine. Our waiter/waitresses previous and the most recent have been extremely rude. Refills were provided by other staff, when selecting food we were cut off or given a tone in an annoying manner that seemed as if though they were angry we were asking questions about what we were getting. When food came out we didn’t receive everything or not what we had asked for. Again, the front end staff and manager did amazing correcting mistakes but they should not of had to. I understand one offs but this is three times of consistently bad food and abnormal waiting staff service. It is a shame as my wife and I grew up loving their food and the experience but as long is it remains this way we will no longer be eating at this location.

If you love Italian, this is your place! One of my favorites from Lasagna to Spaghetti and more. You can walk right in without reservations most of the time. They even have a Trolley Car in the restaurant, nice touch! Parking: close to the building

I love the spaghetti factory, usually we have a great experience but our last visit was awful. I made a reservation two days prior and the service was terrible. They sat us at a table that was not presentation-ready. They never asked or gave us refills for our drinks. The server had too many tables in our area and was focused on the larger parties verses serving us. We had to ask for our bread which they forgot twice and then later brought it out AFTER we received our main course. When they brought the ice cream, they forgot spoons and we then had to wait 15 min. before getting them after asking. The server was real quick to take our payment though. I am very disappointed in the Carmel management at this location. Was looking forward to a great experience to take my parents to after they came into town to visit, but that is not at all what we received.

Server yelled across our table of 13 at one end to take orders and us passed food down to each other so many people handling food. She was Not a professional server at all. Kid-friendliness: It's a kid environment with kid menu.

Ate there last night a truly awful experience. Got there before the rush, barely anyone in the place and it still took 2 hours to get our food. Over an hour for the appetizers. No sign from any management on the floor, servers had too many tables. They blamed it on the kitchen but the other reviews point to this being a chronic issue. Food came out obviously having sat in the warmer too long with hard dried out pasta. Italian cream soda may have been the worst drink I’ve ever had, tasted like a fountain soda that ran out of syrup. Honestly you are going to get better food at Olive Garden…

Waited over 20 minutes during practically no foot traffic to even have the waitress take drink orders or even come introduce herself, which never happened. Other people were sat and orders taken during this time. Abysmal service. Go to Noodles & Co. down the road for a better experience.
