The OP has such a great atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks. Service is A1. Would definitely recommend this place. It’s a great place to watch a game, they have trivia on Wednesday nights, taco Tuesdays. I recommend the avocado margarita. They also have $4 shots available. Staff is phenomenal. Manager is attentive and checks on guests.
My favorite sports bar in Logan Square. Easy access from the Blue Line.
I have been stopping by The Old Plank for a few years now but came by yesterday for dinner and, wow! I got sucked into trivia and it ended up being so much fun! This place was popping! It was a highlight of my week and I definitely can’t wait to be back. The new staff is awesome and super attentive. It was nice to see all of the staff, managers and owners included, helping the staff when it became busy. That’s the type of spot in the neighborhood I’d like to support! I really enjoyed the atmosphere for trivia and hope they keep it around! I’ll be back for Marg Mondays and Taco Tuesdays for sure!!!!!!
Our server mixed up my vegetarian order for a meat dish (which I unknowingly ate part of) and the manager refused to void the item. I unfortunately won’t be returning. Vegetarian options: Not vegetarian friendly. Dietary restrictions: Does not ask up front about dietary restrictions.
Everything is just fine here, I feel like being in Logan there are better options tbh. Service was good, but food feels expensive for what it is. I got the wings ($16), they were ok, side of fries very ok, marg ok (paid $16 for about 12oz marg). I’ve had tacos in the past and they’re also ok. Chips and salsa were good, and they do have good vegan options tho. They tack on a 4% convenience fee (separate from sales tax and tip), I assume to cover the cost of using a credit card? Seems strange for a business of their size to put that on the consumer.
