Food and services were great .They have real good waitresses
Service was friendly enough, but inattentive until we complained. Tea had an off taste. Steaks were way over-cooked. The "1/2 lb burger" was a tiny over-cooked hockey puck on an over-sized bun. The chicken tender dinner was 6-8 scrawny strips of chicken smaller than what you can get at many fast food places, with half the flavor. Terribly overpriced for the quality, portions, and service. We won't be going back. UPDATE: Went back after all. (Wasn't our choice. We were with a group and got out-voted.) I got a 10oz burger which I ordered *medium*, and as it should have, it arrived with a "medium" tag stuck in it. But one bite was all it took to know this was nothing near medium. It's not that it was well-done. It's that it was burnt. No chargrilled goodness here. It tasted like charcoal. My wife got the chicken tenders. They were fine, but again, not as good as most fast food places. My daughter liked the fries and ate about 1/2 of her shrimp. Said it was "OK". I really don't see how this place stays open. Prices were even more through the roof than last time. Service was decent. Food was terrible.
Kaylee did a great job taking care of my two parties this week. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful. Lovely location to dine
Great service at this place. Our waitress was very vigilant of the table needs and was on top of it, therefore, the 5 stars in this area. I had 10 oz. a ribeye with a sweet potato. The sweet potato was outstanding, on the other hand, the ribeye, not so much. However, to their benefit, I asked for my steak to be cooked with only salt and pepper over butter, avoiding their homemade sauce (mainly because most sauces like this contain sugar which I avoid as I am diabetic). I added more salt at the table and more butter and the meat improved significantly. I also had a side salad which I can rate as "nothing to write home about it." The place and bathrooms were clean. The ambiance was rated a little low because the appearance of an old restaurant was not appealing to me. Perhaps that goes with the place name and if you do not care this area may be a 4 or 5 stars for you. Bottom line, this was my first experience for steak in Dothan, Alabama. The person who recommended the place painted a more spectacular picture of what I got, considering I spent over $40 (maybe my Atlanta trained taste buds are spoiled to more flavourful food ). Next time I will try other places with steak and will have data for a better comparison. My coworker had seafood and he liked it a lot.
Very pricy food was good cooked as requested
Food was good, service was decent, my drink wasn't filled fast enough for me. Place was quiet and comfortable and clean.
