Had Afternoon English Tea today and everything was so yummy!! The owners and staff were awesome! Will be back for sure!!
Great little spot in Stone Oak which tends to be void of places to eat. Food and service were solid- breakfast ends at 11 and the tea was great.
"It was pretty good 10/10. Also incase you go here order the orange juice it's bussin bussin."- Gunnar (12yo)
Stopped by for a Sunday breakfast, It was crowded, but there were a few empty tables. Was immediately greeted by Dr. Rob who inquired if this was my first visit and took the time to explain the menu and concept since it was was my first visit. Allison also came to the table to explain the menu, make some recommendations, and answer any questions. Ordered some Tetley Tea while looking at the menu. Finally decided on a Pie, Bangers & Mash, Cucumber Cream Cheese Sandwich. The plates came with 1 side, so opted for the Cabbage. Enjoyed the tea while the food came out about 10 minutes later. Food was good, especially the pie as it had a nice flaky crust. My favorite part of the meal was the dessert. Allison made the best recommendation of the Sticky Toffee Pudding. I would come back just to have this for dessert. All the staff were very friendly and made sure everything was going well. Will come back to try more of the menu and sit on the outside patio on a nice day.
This is our go-to for Sunday morning breakfast. I wish they were open later so I could visit during the week!
The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was wonderful. So delighted with the experience we have now booked a bridal shower for tea! Try it you will not be disappointed.
When we go out walking on weekends, we stop by the Old English Tea Shoppe as a reward goal. The missus doesn’t know, but I secretly go on our constitutionals because their full English breakfasts and egg sarnies take me back to my youthful indiscretions across the pond, when my Dad would keep looking at me sideways because of my preference for Malcolm McLaren over the Silver Jubilee. Brilliant!
Absolutely phenomenal food. We had the Sunday roast dinner, ham, eggs and chips, chicken and mushroom pie as well as a pot of Yorkshire tea. The gravy on the roast is divine! The flake of the pastry is perfection. Every layer of food is seasoned perfectly, you can tell they take care in making each item. Not pictured was the chocolate cake and sticky toffee pudding which were the best I've had, particularly the pudding. The owner and staff are very kind and welcoming. This has become a new favorite spot for our family.
We had such a great time. Food was superb. Great service. English Tea party, something everyone should experience at least once.
EXCELLENT afternoon tea! HIGHLY recommend!! Service was OUTSTANDING, food was authentic and delicious, and will definitely return. Entire staff is absolutely wonderful! Sandra, Dr. Rob, Emma, Kodie, and the entire rest of the staff was just so hospitable and attentive. Definitely a MUST!!
