We went to Montana Club on Reserve because my father in law wanted to go there. It took the hostess entirely too long to look up from something she was reading to flippantly ask "how many?" We asked to be near the fireplace and the restaurant was only 1/4 full. But "I can't" and she sat us literally two tables away from the fire. The music was loud and not family/work appropriate (or adding a MT atmosphere). We left within 10mins of entering. So we tried the MT Club on Brooks. Slightly better music, but still out of place for a nicer dining establishment. The host there wasn't paying attention when my husband said there were four in our party. He brought one set of silverware and mumbled something about how my husband wasn't easy to understand and walked off. Luckily, our server was good. The food was OK. My pork was very overcooked. My father in law and husband ordered ribeyes and both said they were they were the toughest ribeyes they'd ever had. Neither ate more than half their steak. The best thing we had was the crab dip and drinks. We won't be back anytime soon.
I would say that this was the worst meal I have ever had. The chicken was completely rubber, and covered in some strange gooey substance. I honestly feel like they cooked this chicken in a dishwasher. Used to be good, shame. Our waitress Emily was a doll though. EDIT: We all left about 30 minutes ago. Three people at my table have now told me that they all have upset stomachs. Thankfully, I didn’t eat anything.
