The best Liverpool supporters pub in Brooklyn
The bartender is great but often short-staffed.
The Irish pub vibe I've been missing - friendly, down to earth, great spot to watch a match. Staff was fantastic.
One of the best places to watch a Liverpool game specifically or any sporting events in general. It's also home to the official Liverpool supporters club of Brooklyn. Amazing place with a great atmosphere to watch a match!
Went to this pub for the gotham fc game last night because the original bar was over flowing and we were told they had agreed to host us. I found the bartenders immediately annoyed and dare I say misogynistic throughout the night. When I flagged down one of them to order for a friend he pointed a pen in my face and said “don’t do that.” He was apparently trying to find someone that had ordered a drink and had walked away, not sure how I was meant to know this information. I guess ordering a drink at a bar was rude of me. I then overheard him multiple times refuse to close out tabs because it was too busy, then spend a good five minutes filing the card away (not sure how this was faster than closing out). As a frequent visitor to gay bars I promise closing out is not a lengthy experience. I witnessed an argument over this where someone was leaving the bar and he refused to close them out, again spending more time arguing with them over closing their tab than it would take to close it. He then over charged them by multiple drinks and when pointed out was annoyed that he had to adjust it (I have now seen other reviews with this same experience so check your receipt). Men were treated with handshakes and attentiveness and women (who were the primary customers for the women’s soccer game) were treated as nuisances. Will not be returning. response to the bars response: my experience was having a man point at me and aggressively say “don’t do that” when i flagged him down for my friend to order a drink. i only noticed the way they treated others after being directly reprimanded and being right next to those ordering and being treated poorly as well and hearing their grievances. not subjective at all, just observant.
