Ordered Chicken Sandwich and it arrived at table badly burnt and was missing the fries. Told waitress it was too burnt. The end of it was all curled up and black even worse than the rest of the chicken. Waitress took back and when she returned the burnt curled end of it was cut off but was the same burnt breast. It is a shame that that is action they took rather than do the right thing. Well at least fries where on the plate this time.

First and last visit! There weren’t any waiters to take our order and when asked their only explanation was that they were short staffed… I am so tired of the “we’re short staffed” excuse for terrible service. That’s not our problem! Then limit the amount of people you allow into your establishment. The bar tender was incredibly rude! As if he couldn’t be bothered with our drink orders. We were forced to order food at the bar because the servers only served specific tables. No menus! The band was terrible! The drink menu was a joke! And when we finally got our food it was cold/burned and to top it all off I was sick all night from the food

We waited a very long time for our server. She did not know what beers they had. Too many for her to know. They didn’t have enough menus. Had to wait for others to finish looking at the menu and then brought one for us to share. When we were going to order she said we couldn’t because the kitchen was backed up. They were also out of ice tea. Took 25 to bring on beer after having to ask. The band wasn’t even good to justify staying. Never had a restaurant tell me we couldn’t order food. Guess there is always a first.

So sad that this is likely the last time we’ll visit The Monastery. 2+ hours with no table service & they wouldn’t take a food order. They bring in great bands but it’s just not worth the cost of the ride share to have a few weak drinks on an empty stomach. Would’ve loved to stay because the music was great but when you can’t get food or table service why bother? These local bands play at a lot of other venues that we’ll be patronizing instead of this place from now on.

Met some friends from work for some good and drinks. It had been years since I'd been there. The wings and pretzel were very good. The band sounded good as well. Was surprised that no one was playing volleyball as the weather was beautiful. Kid-friendliness: Under 18 are allowed until 8 PM.
