Vegan and gluten free options are mutually exclusive - would not recommend if you are either of those things. Very nice staff tried to help us out (and correctly identified that a salad is not a real meal and so did not offer us one). Dietary restrictions: Has vegan options and has gluten-free options, but they are mutually exclusive.

Awesome place for breakfast! My husband's most favorite french toast on the planet and I would definitely get the avocado toast again (goes really well with a side of bacon as well!). I just have to add that the avocado toast is huge and a fantastic layering of flavors, textures and colors. Great coffee options and ambiance makes this a perfect breakfast spot!

12 of us women bounced in starving and our experience couldn't have been better. Our waitress Tess was a doll and made us feel welcomed and cared for. The food is amazing. Every plate felt special. Prices were reasonable and our food came out quickly. We are visiting but if we come back, we will visit. Vegetarian options: I'm vegan and they had a separate menu for me. So greatful

I ordered the mission rosemary, and my wife and daughter shared the strawberry/banana pancakes, with side orders of rosemary potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, chicken sausage and a to-go banana bread. We absolutely over-ordered but it’s our last morning in San Diego and we needed to try everything. We ate until we couldn’t any longer and there was a decent amount of food left. Everything was outstanding. We will definitely be back here next time we’re in town. Thank you for an amazing end to our visit!

Food was okay, but overpriced. Coffee was $5 per person… its not even that expensive in new york quick service and waiters were really nice!

It's been 15+ years since my last visit and the mission is as good as I recall. The chilaquiles were very spicy and the Portuguese linguisa was very tasty. Just wish I lived closer!

Food was good, but not great. It looked better than it tasted. Atmosphere was lacking - tables and chairs were worn, cheap, and uncomfortable. Ketchup bottle was ringed with old crusted dark brown ketchup. Service was quick and attentive but not particularly friendly. The host looked like he might fall asleep standing up. Not a bad meal but I wouldn’t return.
