I called the restaurant 1 hour before closing to confirm that it was still open and the kitchen was open. The reviews seemed positive and I was looking forward to a meal after 8 hours on flights. On arrival ~40 minutes before the listed closing time, a different person told me that due to it being slow, they had closed early and would not be making dishes either for dining in or takeout. The person I had spoken with on the phone then apologized, but ultimately, I still had no food after making a trip to this restaurant.
The experience was great, this one didn't have biscuits and gravy like the one in North Park
Avocado toast is amazing. Tomorrow is going to be our last day in San Diego and it's going to be hard to choose which breakfast to enjoy for our last day, but it's between the mission and another place. Coffee is above average.
Too many homeless. I prefer the OG location at mission beach
Favorite servers are gone, food quality has dropped, building could use some TLC, and service was hard to get outside. Sad. We used to go here once or twice a week.
A great breakfast stop in San Diego. Had a great mix of traditional American breakfast options, fresh/healthy food, and Mexican influence (so basically San Diego ha).
Pancakes are delicious. Eggs with bacon are nice too. A bit expensive but it's worth it.
