It ain’t fancy inside, but the food is to die for and service was fantastic! The printed menu is not exceptional, but the specials are out of this world! I opted for the shrimp and grits w brown gravy, butter beans, and and extra side order of green beans…I could have died and gone to heaven! The shrimp were perfect and grits and gravy/sauce were so unbelievably flavorful and sumptuous! I did not have room for dessert but I sure wish I had! This is a GREAT super authentic southern cooking lowcountry gem!!!!

We found the place on Google looking for a lunch. The service was great! The food was ok. The atmosphere was not great. My son said it smelled funky and the floor was so sticky it was pulling on my boots.

Fried pork chops were excellent.

These are the friendliest owners, so appreciative of your business, and accommodating for whatever you’re craving that day! This was our first time here, with my family, and the owner told us there were many things in the kitchen that may not be on the menu, and offered so many delicious options, including homemade fresh crab cakes! He made us fried green tomatoes and fresh (not frozen) fried okra for appetizers! OMGoodness, lots of LOVE in their food! Portions are large, freshly cooked, homemade quality dishes! Thank you for making my family feel so special and serving such great food! We will definitely be back!

After reading all the great reviews I was expecting better than what we received. We should have just ate at a fast food place, it would have been better. Fries were cold and hard, burgers tasted like they were cooked a week ago. All the rest of the order was luke warm. The people were nice but the food was so disappointing.

The fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, asparagus, mashed potatoes, hush puppies, and coconut cake were all delicious. If you are in there area, stop here and eat. I definitely recommend.

Nothing to brag about. Was hoping for better based on the reviews. Ended up disappointed. The server couldnt answer what comes on the bologna sandwich. So I didnt bother getting it. The food was just average. We got the fried chicken and one piece was burnt. We also got the fatboy burger and it lacked flavor. The burger patty was so dense and bland. The service was lacking. She acted like it was a bother for her to be there. It seemed that people were getting in the way of her phone time. She constantly walked dragging her feet, which is extremely annoying. PICK UP YOUR FEET. YOURE GROWN. We sat through most of the meal with an empty glass. There was just nothing about this visit that makes me want to come back or recommend to anyone. Just a huge disappointment all around.

Very traditional menu, low key / divey atmosphere to match. Service was super chill but best of all the food was amazing.
