Decent fine dining with good food. Nothing too creative but certainly good quality for what you expect for a proper sit down dinner. High quality ingredients with good flavor balances. Good for dates and guest entertainment.

A classy restaurant with exceptional food and service.

I’ve lived in Dallas for 8 years and it took me that long to dine at The Mansion for dinner. I’ve had brunch and enjoyed the mansion bar, but never made it for dinner service. I missed out! The dinner service is well orchestrated, service is great, and the food is well prepared and presented. I also like the atmosphere here- elegant.

Used to be an awesome place! Went wayyy downhill. No dress code, no standards like their used to be.

Went for my birthday and absolutely loved it. Will be going back every time I’m in Dallas.

The hostess/host were amazing. They snapped to attention when I walked in, were friendly, smiley, well dressed, and seated us with haste, but we did not feel rushed. Our waiter was like a personal attendant. I never felt so waited on in my life. The jacket he wore with the emblem was a nice touch. We ordered the five course meal and every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The drinks were perfectly blended and not awash with cheap liquor in undignified portions to cater to the uncouth. Bravo. The ambience was amazing. We had a lovely view of the patio. Its juxtaposition against the cityscape makes it a truly one of a kind view. The dessert really amazed. It was truly elegant and devilishly disguised triumph of chocolate. I must protest the valet though. They did not open my wife's door and they did not attempt to help me put my coat on as I got out of my vehicle. In addition, a Roush Mustang far exceeds a Lexus 350 and should've been showcased up front.

We loved the romantic atmosphere for a dinner date. The food was phenomenal. We had the crab cake for an appetizer, and it was one of the best we have ever had! The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because at this price point I shouldn't have to ask for a refill especially when I was only drinking soda and water. Also, the hostesses could be more friendly and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed it.
