We used The Makery for our wedding. Their team is absolutely wonderful to work with! Our cake and cupcakes were DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend them for any big event. Dietary restrictions: They were so accommodating for our big group and wonderful with recommendations! So easy to work with for our wedding.

This cake was for my daughter's first birthday it turned waaaaay better than I imagined. The characters were modeled after her fav toy. And it turned out absolutely perfect!! This is the my third cake from Makery, it's always worth it.

We used the Makery for our wedding cake and they delivered a beautiful cake! The flavors were great and it was such a hit and totally went at the wedding! We loved the honeymoon cake and one year anniversary cake combo they do as well. We even booked with them last minute and they were so great and accommodating.

If you're looking for an incredible cake design with amazing flavor, this is the place. I came to this bakery for a cake that I think most bakeries would have thought was a bit too out there for them. It was a black metal red velvet cake with blood dripping down, pentagrams on the side and a blood filling. They took the challenge with no judgment and an intense excitement. They were so thorough with their questions to give me exactly what I wanted. The cake was an absolute hit and had everyone asking where I got it. Most amazing cake experience I've ever had. Love these guys and absolutely going back for more.

We chose a geode cake and I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but it was AMAZING! It was soooo pretty and the taste and textures were so wonderful. People couldn't stop taking pictures of it and when it was time to feed each other, I was in heaven! Thank you Desiree and team for your hard work and dedication to helping make my wedding fabulous!

Exceeded my expectations!

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with the team at The Makery for almost two decades. Their cakes and desserts are spectacular in taste and presentation, and they are fantastic to work with! I recommend them to all of my clients and you would be wise to hire them for your wedding or any special event!

Very friendly and creative decorators!

My fiancé and I went in to design our cake having no idea what to expect or where to begin, outside of some inspo pictures we collected. We met with Bobby who was about as personable as a doorknob. He sat across from us and basically stared at us until I asked him what he needed from us. My fiancé and I have never been married before, let alone designed a cake. We haven’t sent out invitations yet so I asked Bobby what time he needed to adjust for size- he somehow took that as we were going to serve a different cake. Nonetheless, we designed our dream cake. Bobby told us an anniversary cake was included in our price and threw in a couple other “deals”, only to give us a total close to $3000. When my fiancé asked for a breakdown, Bobby assured us that’s just the STANDARD cost. He lied. Come to find out the things he threw in WITHOUT discussing or even showing us the options to add, all added cost onto our cake total. Weddings are ridiculously expensive, and can be stressful enough to plan. We felt completely taken advantage of by Bobby and feel he was not the best fit to be doing initial tastings or design meetings due to his lack of enthusiasm, inability to discuss or highlight pricing/ package options or lead a meeting.

The team at the Makery was extremely attentive and very easy to work with. We doubled our wedding cake with a gender reveal which was reflected in the cake color. We had a friend coordinate the desired color with the Makery and their execution was flawless.
