Thank goodness you put a piece of paper on the door to say you’re closed. Maybe update your website and Google page so people don’t walk 20 minutes there just to find out you’re closed.
Not sure what’s going on with this place. Their website let me place an order while they were closed (Website and Google said they were open). They’re now not answering the phone or responding to messages, so I can’t get a refund.
Great place to get coffee and a breakfast pastry if you're like me and your hotel nearby has nothing to offer. Although it was so good I would come here regardless!
I like the coffee at the Lost Bean. I've been to this location and the one on Susan St many times. But at this location, I noticed that I consistently get charged more for coffee and extras such as syrup. I don't say anything because it's not a lot (e.g., 50 cents extra for a drip coffee or for syrup) but it keeps happening and doesn't match what's listed on posted menu. It makes me want to just go to the Susan St location.
When I arrived I had to wait a bit for someone to take my order because she was talking with some other people casually. However when I didn't know what milk substitution to get she was very patient with me. I enjoy going to all the Lost Bean locations, this one is fairly new. If you need a quiet place to study or work online this is a great place to be.

It took a LOT of sugar to make that coffee less bitter.... And I don't use sugar
