Celebrated my birthday on a Wednesday, 2nd time in a row. Cool spot, great outdoor area, with heat lamps. Friendly staff, cool music. Downsides, no food aside from hot dogs and only street parking. Vegetarian options: None, no food Parking: No lot, only busy street. Kid-friendliness: It's a bar so no! Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs so good!
One of my favorite places in Venice! Cocktails are always on point made by the most amazing bartenders. Music is always on point too!
I want in all cases to do right, and most particularly so, in all cases with women-Abraham Lincoln 08/16/1837 Four score and seven years ago gender relations were not such a mysterious endeavor. The man paid for a drink, the woman drank the drink. Now, a woman pays for her drink and accuses you of not being a gentleman by accepting her offer to pay for the drink. Or worse yet, you are a misogynistic degenerat for having the audacity to try to pay for her drink. ♂️. What is not a mystery is that the Lincoln has great drinks! A true mixologist behind the bar here. A Ukrainian woman softly caressed my hair and told me she was looking for a nice distraction from her husband and kids as I waited for my expresso martini and in hindsight. I never saw a woman so alone. So alone, so alone, Nice place.....kinda dark in a sexy way.
DJ vs the crowd is not how a night club should handle itself. I've never seen so many people so desperate to dance and a DJ so intent on not letting them. The DJ here sucked and insisted on playing what HE wanted to hear instead of the crowd that he's paid to entertain and show a good time to. The few times the DJ started playing something that got the crowd undeniably visibly excited, he'd almost immediately change the song to something quite opposite: for example, playing 30 sec of Feel So Close by Calvin Harris then transitioning into Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N Roses then immediately into Don't Stop Believing by Journey... Really? Those songs are not compatible and seriously dude, pick a theme! The patrons here all seemed pretty cool and just looking to have a good time; quite a few were pretty dressed up. The drinks are excellent, definitely quality but you have to wait about 30 minutes before the bar opens up enough to actually order a drink. It's tough to get the bartender's attention but once you do, they're very professional and respectful. All in all, this place is definitely worth checking out, especially if they start getting better DJs who will actually play dance music for the tons of people who show up clearly wanting to dance.
Went at 8pm on Dec 30th and it was empty. The atmosphere was great and the cocktails were creative but not exceptional. It started getting busy as we were leaving. I liked the couches - very cozy setting.
The cocktails were small, not great, and overpriced. The place turns into a club but they have a single stall bathroom for women and no stall, only urinals for men. The music was fun but I can’t really recommend due to the quality of the cocktails and the bathroom situation. Not acceptable for a large crowded bar.
