They've gotten better on service. Food has too much salt. My online orders for pickup are good.

I'm from Palm Beach County. I had business in Broward today and decided to get lunch at The Licking Sunrise because I LOVE The Licking @ Millenia in Orlando. I have to say I am completely disappointed. This was my FIRST visit to one of the south locations. The food was ok, but the service was HORRIBLE!! We arrived around 1:45pm, and there were no other customers at the time. I couldn't help buy notice upon entrance, the employee that should be behind the counter is sitting in the waiting area on her personal phone. When she got up to service us, she stated dine-in was closed and it was carry-out only. I found that odd, but I hadn't planned on dining in, so it was of no consequence. She NEVER hung-up her personal call. Meanwhile, the whole time there was a permanent scowl on her face. Then, a [portly] staff member comes from the kitchen to bring out an order. She looked at me. Now, I believe in practicing etiquette and will greet others verbally or with a non-verbal gesture. I spoke and said, "Hello, beautiful." She looked at me and rolled her eyes. I tried to give Ms. T (the cashier, her name started with a "T") some encouraging words and let her know she's too beautiful too be frowning on such a beautiful day. She said she had a very trying morning. And, I explained someone was not afforded to see today. Needless to say, I will NOT be visiting THIS location again, without some serious soft-skills training. As a licensed professional, who worked in the salon industry for 20+ years, one consistent characteristic in the psychology of the consumer, they aren't just paying for a good or service, they are paying for the EXPERIENCE! This is truly constructive feedback. The manager is an African-American woman. I salute you, Queen! Know that I want to see you succeed. But, as an HR professional, I hope the egregious behavior your staff demonstrated today, are in no way a reflection of your leadership. I hope there are some improvements in the near future.

The food is 10/10 but some of the girls at the front are not friendly or even smiles to make you even want to order. I don't want to be your friend but at least have a pleasant welcoming look you're at the forefront, 1st Glace even before the food. Smh, customer service training is most definitely needed. P.S Therea chef that comes out from time to time that lifts your spirit I guess she know the girls our front are sour

They don't clean the tables they are all sticky and you have to clean it yourself.

This was my first time trying the Lickin. Ordered at the store. Got two fried snapper with shrimp and Mac and cheese and rice. The wait after ordering was tooo long. If we didn’t pay we would have left ‍♀️. Got food and it was good. The fish was a lot which I’m always happy for lol. A tad bit salty for me but not crazily horrible. The Mac and cheese was good. Nice texture. The rice needed a little salt from the fish. Haha. So it evened out. The shrimp wasn’t too bad. I’ll try them again. I’ll call ahead though. That wait time is too long.

I stopped in for lunch, and to my surprise, the atmosphere and colors were nice. However, the music was way too loud. The clerk who took my order was very matter-of-fact, but I decided to stay and place my order. They offered fried tilapia or snapper. I ordered the fried snapper. My order came, and they gave me tilapia. WHAT? REALLY? I am a foodie, so I know the difference between tilapia and snapper! The sides were sweet potatoes and collard green. They were just ok. I won't go back.
