The Lakefront Restaurant at Theater on the Lake

Great food, atmosphere, and service.

Our sweet grandson passed away and we needed a funeral lunch place very last minute. Amy the Events Director did an amazing job accommodating us, especially after having double the amount of people then we anticipated. The Manager Maggie coordinated the staff last minute and did not miss a beat with preparing the food and kept it coming. The food was great, the staff was great and Amy and Maggie were so kind to us during a very difficult time.

We chose this restaurant based on its excellent online reviews. Upon our arrival at 1:30PM, we were promptly seated as there were only five occupied tables in the entire establishment. However, we waited for 25 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. It seemed that the bartender was also serving as the waiter, while the hostess did not assist with other tasks such as taking orders or delivering food. Additionally, there was a woman at a high top table who appeared to be a manager, constantly running between the bar and her computer. Another customer from a different table expressed dissatisfaction with the slow service. Consequently, we made the decision to leave at 2PM. While I understand that having minimal staff can be challenging, there is room for improvement in terms of team management and workload distribution. The place is aesthetically nice and has a great view of the skyline.

Open year round. Good service. The food was good but not a lot of options on the menu, and some of the dishes were small

What a great place! With views of the lake and spectacular food, it doesn't get much better. The service was perfect. We ordered a few appetizers to split. We got the breakfast charcuterie, deviled eggs, and bread. The bread was outstanding, and although the charcuterie was nice, there was less than we anticipated to split between the four of us. All of our entrees were great as well. Seasonal berries were delicious and perfectly ripe. Scrambled eggs were cooked well and the bacon was thick and perfectly crisp. But the smashed potatoes were really to die for. We plan on going back many more times to try a little bit of everything.

Food is phenomenal. Brisket dip sandwich and fried chicken were so good I want to come back tomorrow. Sat at the bar and the bartender was so nice and fun. Great scenery. Wonderful time. Must go to.
