The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - South Pointe

The best Keg location in Calgary. It never fails to impress. Parking: Limited amount of spots for parking.

We usually like to come here for special occasions. We tried the bone marrow that was on special, and ordered the steak oscar as well. The bone marrow was unique, and tasted great when spread on some bread. Definitely something new you might want to consider if you're looking for something different to start your meal. At the end of the meal we got a free dessert because we had a birthday in our group as well, which was a nice surprise!

Food was good, server was fantastic, atmosphere was like that of a McDonald's restaurant at lunchtime. Overcrowded tables and bankettes, cutlery and food on the floor, loud, noisy, full of families with young kids, and it was a 6pm reservation. The atmosphere was horrible for a fine dining experience, the worst of every keg restaurant I have been to. The amount of mess on the floor on the way to my table was beyond believable. Sadly, won't return to this location despite the excellent service.

Honestly a great restaurant for important celebrations and the like! Very friendly and easy to work with staff and excellent food!

Have never had a bad meal here

Our server Steve was fantastic, the food was excellent, always a great dinner, they cater to our gluten free diet. Always our go to place for a yummy steak dinner. Dietary restrictions: Dining gluten free is essy

The food was absolutely delicious and despite it being a full restaurant, everything was served in a timely manner. I do think our server could have been more attentive throughout the evening, however it was a really good experience overall. I highly recommend the Crispy Cauliflower as an appetizer and the Blackened Chicken for a main.
