The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - 4th Ave

Visited Calgary from out of town 2 weeks ago and decided to take my girlfriend and her family to this Keg location-- and I'm glad I did! Our server, Jayson, took immaculate care of our party; he maintained a professional, yet entertaining manner at all times while also getting to know us on a personal level that left a lasting impression. We were also honoured to have the GM, who knew I was visiting from out of town, visit the table to build rapport and ensure our overall experience was up to standard. I'm happy to say that our experience at this location exceeded that. Will be making this Keg a staple for nights out during my next visits to Calgary!

One of our favourite go to places for date night. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. Servers are normally very well trained. And we are able to have a conversation without yelling or staining to hear each other.

Excellent meal! Superb steak, salad and sourdough bread. The filet and prime rib were perfect! The waitress and service was outstanding as well.

After landing at the airport I checked into my hotel and immediately went straight to The Keg Steakhouse + Bar on 4th Ave in downtown Calgary. Glad I did. What a treat. This place has it all with great service and a very fine atmosphere. I went with the Mushrooms Neptune as an appetizer and then segued to the main; a gorgeous 12 oz. Peppercorn New York with Whiskey Peppercorn Sauce, Garlic Mashed Potato, and Broccoli, all accompanied by a couple of White Russians. Eat here. Highly recommended.

Ordered a NY Strip at lunch ( med-rare) came medium and was very dry and chewy, didn’t eat it. The broccoli was hard and cold. Thank goodness the fries were good!
