The Juice Truck Burnaby

I love juice truck but this location smudges the good name in Juice Truck. The two times I tried to order a smoothie I couldn't. Either JT was closed during opening hours or no one was there. Just go to the West 5th location, you will receive amazing service with a friendly atmosphere.

Its great to have the option of Juice Truck inside Whole foods, great smoothies !!!

I used to be a regular at this location and my go-tos were: The Green Smoothie and The Green Protein which taste great. However, the last time I was in the store, I decided to try out the The Junior Smoothie. About halfway through my drink, I noticed some small foreign objects. I suspect the dates used in the smoothie were unpitted. I have been hesitant to go back ever since this experience and wanted to share this with others in case you order a smoothie that includes dates.

I’m a regular Juice Truck customer here and other locations but my visit to this location last week will be my last one. I was not impressed by the young girls working there. My first issue was the wait and customer service. I waited to order for about 5 minutes, even though there were two of them working. One was busy chatting with a friend/customer who ordered before me….. What really me very disappointed as a customer was that I had ordered the always tropical and paid to add unflavoured BEC protein. I watched one of the girls (let’s call her Girl A) make it (like putting the ingredients into the blender) … without adding in the protein. Then, the second girl (Girl B) poured the smoothie out into a cup, put it on the counter and said “the always tropical”. I waited at the counter and finally got the attention of Girl A. I asked to clarify if this always tropical was in fact my drink and that there was protein added. She looked confused and said “uh…” and looked over at Girl B. Girl B nodded and said yes. (Hmm….suspicious because she didn’t make this drink). I left with getting side eyes from these girls. Unfortunately I’m too trusting and I was running errands that day and had to leave. Later, after drinking this smoothie, I definitely realized there was no protein added. I’ve had this smoothie before with protein added so I know the difference. I definitely won’t be back to this location if I’m paying $11-$12 per smoothie, adding extra money and being lied to about my drink. I’ve had no issues with other locations so I’ll stick to those ones!

The green smoothie is the best but too pricy tho

Have been coming here for the bestie bowl every week for lunch in the last couple of years, since there was a $5 discount for $50 spent. The discount eventually stopped. Noticed today the bestie bowl has dramatically shrunk in size (almost half) but price went up. This will probably be the last time I order a bestie bowl as the value no longer adds up. Service is always good though.

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION- ALL THE BAD REVIEWS YOU READ ARE TRUE. Visited this location on February 19th, 2023 (Sunday) around closing time but I just wanted to purchase the pre made juice sitting on the side so it shouldn’t have been a big deal because all I literally had to do was grab it and pay. The girl working seen me grabbing the juice and immediately said sorry we’re closed. I said can’t I just pay for it quickly.. she said no. This is the lady working. Truly unacceptable as I came all the way to this location from surrey to buy my weekly juice and wasted my time. I would understand if they were closed and no one was there, but I came just before closing time and she didn’t want to scan my PRE MADE juice and let me pay. I will now be looking elsewhere to buy my juice as this is not okay. Poorest customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. As you can see in the picture below, she was still there doing god knows what, clearly not serving customers? They closed at 7pm and I wrote this entire review and am posting it by 7:20pm so clearly I wasn’t late. She just didn’t want to serve me. Absurd . Whoever hired this lady I would think again, she turned down over $100 dollars in business and that too of the PRE MADE juice, she had to do nothing but scan my items and let me pay. I grab the pre made juice each Sunday to last me the week. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Love Juice Truck and was so excited to have one close to our place but this place is unfortunately kind of a dud. Any time I try to order a juice, they push me to take one of the bottled ones instead of making it fresh, the smoothies definitely taste different from the ones at HQ on 5th street, and MOST annoyingly, their hours are listed online as closing at 7, but twice now I went around 6 - 6:15 and they were closed. Love JT, but this location needs some of the love and passion you always find on the 5th street location.

Been supporting this location since they have been opened but the hours are inconsistent. Got there this morning at 9:00am since the website, Google review, and the sign at the store shows that they open at 9:00am. I thought the staff was running behind on schedule to open, so I stood there for 5-8 mins before asking her if she's about to open. She said they open at 9:30am. Previous staff, like Cassie, were amazing, friendly, and warm.
