The Jambalaya Shoppe

Absolutely terrible meal. The jambalaya was the consistency of oatmeal. The rice was mush and the gumbo was awful. We couldn't eat it. It seemeike they reheated the gumbo in the microwave.

Love their Jamabalya. I order the chicken and sausage rice but request they take out as much chicken out as possible. Sometimes there’s too much chunky chicken the Jamabalya. Parking: Located in stripe mall, limited parking. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly

I had the pastalaya, and it was tasteful with a smoke flavored sausage and chicken! Would try again. I've heard the gumbo and beans with rice are also really good.

It's not great food, but I don't think they're trying to be "great". It's heroically affordable.

Service is very very very slow. Too slow to say the food is already cooked. My wife had already eaten by the time I got my food. The cook forgot my order twice. Plus there’s a little boy running in and out the kitchen frequently.
