just ok. Decor and vibes are not enjoyable, some of the dishes we had were alright, others too salty or overpriced.
Lovely, simple, delicious, love it
I love this place. I split the 3-4 person group meal, which had about 6 courses (including sesame oil cabbage, sesame oil pickled cucumbers, shishito peppers, fried smelt, salmon, yellowtail, scallops, lightly fried chicken, Yakiniku, miso salmon + shimeji mushroom bake, seafood ramen, hojicha pudding). The price has gone up a bit recently but I don’t even care tbh cuz this place always hits
I just found this place by accident and wanted to try. Made a reservation and this place was much nicer than expected. Such a cute hidden gem. This restaurant is tiny and bit a tight table setting, however the decorated simply and zen with a modern touch. The food we ordered, addictive cucumber which is really addictive and we finished in a second, then yellowtail sashimi which is very fresh, chicken nanban, Grilled mackerel and mushroom & garlic fried rice. They are all flavorful and tasty. Only thing we have complaints is that we wished the each dish was bigger! If you are planning to go there, make sure to reserve table!
The food was absolutely scrumptious, and the staff was so friendly and attentive. I was even impressed by how tasty the pickles and stir-fried vegetables were! However, after about two hours, the staff started clearing their dishes, which made us feel a bit rushed to finish up. Upon settling the bill and heading out, we sadly discovered that the dessert for the course meal was missing. What a bummer!
Amazing place for the Izakaya in East Village. Service is good, food is tasty. Ill def gonna be back and chill again.
This place is amazing!! So cozy, food is amazing, and beautiful manager Roka chan is the best❤️ Compare to other japanses resturant in east village, this is the best place!
This was my third visit here & this place never disappoints. High quality food portioned in small plates. Grab a couple plates to try different things.
