The Inkan Restaurant

DO NOT COME HERE. First of all they charge a 4% credit card fee. I wasn’t aware of this when paying but the waitress just told me “matter of factly”. As if this was normal. The food was mediocre at best. My lomo saltado vegetable was overcooked, I got an egg when I didn’t want it, my fries were soggy. Empanadas were good. It took us forever to get a bottle of beer. Did I mention the 4% credit card surcharge?! I didn’t know we were still in CoVid times. Anyway, not a place I would ever recommend anyone to come to. I sure won’t be back.

Hmm…They probably could have kept their prices lower if they hadn’t invested in a robot and a light-up floating sign that reads “the Inkan”. But whatever. This place used to be fabulous! 1/4 chicken and a side was my savior when they first opened. And. Thank goodness they didn’t close during Covid. But after Covid. The quality and quantity for the price of their food is laughable. I don’t come here anymore. And it’s unfortunate. It isn’t Peruvian either. It’s Colombian because where are the cancha???!! I recommend you try it once and see how you like it. Keep your hearts open! But know, you might as well cook at home.

Really nice cozy neighborhood restaurant. We’ve tried several dishes here and they’re all really excellent. Lomo LIC is one of our go-to dishes. Highly recommend.

Really great little Peruvian spot in LIC. Steak was fantastic and the service was also great! Definitely will go back and it's worth a stop in!

The service is fantastic and the interior is very cozy and welcoming. We received complementary chips and salsa to start off the meal. Unfortunately, I ordered the skirt steak with green rice and chimichurri, cooked medium, and received a steak so well done that it was at congratulations levels of cooked. Not one bit of pink in the meat and the green rice was a bit bland compared to other peruvian places I've been to. The best part was the chimichurri, but it did nothing to save the meat. Super sweet staff, just disappointed by such a lackluster steak for $32 at that.
