Food was ok been here a couple times

My server Roberta was nice and attentive ! The food was good too!

Loved the food. Prior reservation helped us beat the long wait time.

I'm very offended and ashamed I was looking to patronize this establishment while out shopping downtown Detroit when I wanted a bite. I go in and as expected there was a wait(no big deal it's not uncommon) so I put my name on the waitlist and go next door to shop and kill a little time. I received the your table is ready text and immediately go into back into the restaurant for seating. I get in there and walk up to the podium where there were two acting hosts, one whom is male(Ahmed) who was walking off to seat a couple and the other was a young lady which I approached stating I just received the text she said I know you are up next. . . ??? I ask why would I get a text saying my table is ready if it isn't?? Did you guys give my table away? She responds he did it not me. I ask are you serious? As he walks back to the podium he tells me I'm next, I ask so you gave my table away??? He then lies and say no you are next I reply yeah because you gave my table away he continues to lie saying I recieved the text because it usually takes people a while to come back in to check in after receiving the text. Granted it was my first experience at Hudson so texting your table is ready could've been a method they use but the young lady already informed me that he gave away my table. Ahmed lying only added insult to injury so I politely told them to just erase me from the waitlist and walked out. From my experience I wouldn't recommend this cafe to anyone if they have staff that not only thinks it's ok to give away a table but also blatantly lie about it.

Great food and service. Super busy so be patient and it will be worth the wait.... Breakfast and brunch only. Reservations a must

I had an amazing experience at the bar. Food atmosphere and service 10/10. KT was exceptional.

First-time customer. Went on the spur of the moment. No wait to be seated. The waiter was very nice, and the pace of ordering our food and receiving it was right on time. The food was delicious, and we will definitely visit again
