I have to admit, the service was not the energy we were looking for before a concert. We were very high energy, excited because of the Journey concert. Our server did not appreciate the vibes: she was great in terms of visiting the table but told our guests they could not order for others when they ordered shots for customers who had not yet arrived. Cut customers customers off before understanding the energy of the table. Maybe we were too excited. Not sure: could be a learning experience for before our peak season of stampede begins. Let’s get fun energetic servers in place before the high season !

Me and 4 friends went here on Wednesday night for wing Wednesday. The place looked fun and welcoming. We sat ourselves upstairs and waited to be served. We waited about 10 minutes and didn’t receive any service. Finally a server came over but cleaned the table beside us and looked up at our group. She proceeded to sigh “great, you guys are going to have to wait” and then walked away without cleaning the table she originally was going to. We waited and still no one came over. So we decided to move to a table downstairs for better service. Once downstairs, we chose a table and brought over another chair to accommodate our group. We were then stopped by a different server that snapped at us and said “you can’t move that chair there, this is a walking path”. We apologized and relocated to a back corner table still in her section and borrowed a chair from a table with 2 men who weren’t using the extra 2 chairs they had. There was lots of room and the extra chair was not in the way of anyone/servers. As we moved the chair my friend noticed the waitress staring at us so he asked if it was alright that we moved the chair this time. She again snapped and said “Do I have a choice? You are already moving it.” I understand the frustration of moving chairs, if it was not ok she could have just said so nicely. We decided to leave due to the extremely poor service and one group member only had a photo of their ID (which the server rudely said she couldn’t validate yet they do not scan IDs here and it was clearly a photo of the ID on a table). I am an understanding person yet I felt the service was extremely rude and quite frankly unacceptable. We will not be returning.

My wife and I were both disappointed in our meals. Small portions for the price you pay.

Have passed this Inglewood establishments many times and finally stopped in for lunch today. The building is a former city fire hall and the decor reflects its former use. The food was good, the service was excellent and the lunch hour atmosphere was quite nice. The sound levels were not loud, at all. I ordered the steak sandwich and my wife had the taco salad. Both dishes were well prepared, with good portion sizes. My one complaint: I asked for my steak to be rare, but it was more medium. It was still delicious and good to eat. They emphasize sports as part of the atmosphere and there were several televisions broadcasting hockey and the Scotties women’s curling. A nice pub-grub atmosphere with a good menu and friendly service. We recommend!
