Phenomenal burgers, I mean wow if I was them I’d start marketing these as aphrodisiac it had me feeling a type of way you know what I mean? Beer selection large unlikely you won’t find something you like I enjoyed the sours they had. Service was attentive and friendly. Vibes were immaculate kitchen open until 1am perfect spot for a chill social night
It would be great if you posted no kids allowed after 7 pm. What a waste do time driving down here for nothing.
Cauliflower wings the best! Food and Service never disappoints!
Took a visit to Hoppy Monk for the first time. I ordered the fish and chips with gin and tonic. Now the fish and chips were absolutely divine but that gin and tonic was gross! I'm not sure what gin they used but momma didn't like it. I will go back and next ask for a different gin. All in all it was a great experience.
Good food and service. Get yourself here.
My friend rakshak asked politely for a sample of beer and was met with a rude waiter and incompetent staff, like ok we get it sorry for asking something that most brewery’s have Service sucks too but once I wait 3 hrs to get the burger it’s ok Go to Whole Foods
My husband and I say that this place gives the best bang for your buck. The food here is so good. I highly recommend the ribeye sandwich and wings. The only thing that I don't like about this place is that they completely refuse to take cash. That's a bit of a downer for someone who likes to budget out money, but the food is always worth the trip
Been there twice recently and both times had subpar service in general. The beer menu is expansive so questions like "what would you recommend" are to be expected. When I went with a friend, the server we got seemed annoyed that I even asked and said "idk man we have 60 some beers on the menu." I commented to my friend about it and he said the server had the same reaction when he asked him about recommendations. Beyond unprofessional. Second time around, my friend was served a 5oz pour of a beer because they only offered a 5oz or 23oz of the beer? It was a sad display of customer service, tbh. Yall have a great product. I used to come here a lot - since before the SA location opened - and had not been in a while. Quite a shame that the quality of service has gone down. When I would ask previous staff "what beer would you recommend" they were able to recommend something decent. Even teased out a few preferences.
Uhm…. Imagine going to a pub/beer place where you arent sure what a beer tastes like… asking for a sample (like many other bars like this one provide) and not being allowed a sample because of a policy? I have to pay for a 5oz pour to find out something i could have found out in one sip? Are yall losing money that much? Make sure you know EXACTLY what you like before you come here, even better? Go to whole foods and buy beer for cheaper and drink at the bar where they NOT ONLY open it for you to consume on property but allow a SAMPLE. Ridiculous. Burger was pretty good tho
