Exceptional service, products, and customer appreciations
After contacting the store to inquire about how to obtain a refund, I was met with a rude and unpleasant manager. He told me to contact corporate and dispute with our bank. I contacted corporate and was told to inquire and talk to the store personally. The manager (Rico) there told me that once the order is “picked up” or in this case cancelled, there is no record of the order in their system. We are getting nowhere with either side of HBH and have now lost $100 because of the horrible customer service. Never ordering with this company again.
Yesss, it's been years, but this year I decided to grab a Honey Baked meal. I was NOT disappointed. We bought far more than was needed for yhe 3 of us, but we happily ate on our Christmas for for a few days and was not yired or sick of it. It was sweetened even more by the fact that no one spent hours sweating and cooking and got a lot more family time and laughter in. A win-win!!!
I placed the order online for a 10lb ham on the bone (half ham). When I called to ask how long it takes to warm up the ham, the associate said that he doesn't know. Then immediately proceeded to say, in a very condescending way, "will that be all sir?" Whe ln I arrived at the store, there were no other customers in the store. The first associate walked away as she saw me. Then a minute later, another associate slowly made his way to assist me. He asked for my phone number for the order and as I started to give him the number, he interrupted me and and abruptly asked for my name. Then he slowly walked back to the walk in refrigerator and moved some things around (not at all enthusiastic) and seemed to not be able to find my order. Then he threw 2 pieces of ham on the counter, 1 with a bone (7lbs) and 1 that said quarter ham (5lbs). I informed him that I had ordered a 10lb ham on the bone and that this was not my order. He then said, "that's all we have. It's 2lbs more than what you ordered." I explained that I needed a ham that was on the bone that was close to 10lbs and that it cannot be in pieces. He said that he has nothing bigger than the 7lb ham on the bone, while I was staring at a piece in the display that was clearly bigger. I let him know that it doesn't have to be 10lbs, that it can be 9lbs or even 8lbs. His reply was, "what do you want me to do about it?" Aside from the rude interactions from every associate at this location, they also had the entire day to inform me that there was no 10lbs ham on the bone. This was an epic fail. All of my family members order from here and send hams as gifts every year. I will inform every one of them to stop ordering from this company. Absolutely unacceptable.
I ordered a ham to have for the holidays. I have been getting honey baked hams for many years. When I went to pick it up they didn't show it to me as they always did in the past. The expiration date was 7 days from the date of purchase. It tasted old and dry. Very disappointed. It was definitely not what I'm use to. I will probably go to another store next time.
Hybrid order started on-line and finished In-Store. Got a little confusing. Downgraded my on-line discount (substantial) and substituted with some convoluted lower in-store amount. Oh well; got to remember HBH is in a separate niche, and if you want their EXCELLENT products you have to be willing to pay. They really don't have any competition. The Gentleman and Staff assisting me all were professional, kind and responsive.
