Excellent cocktails - love the support of local distilleries. Ethan is an excellent bartender.
I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. My partner and I stumbled upon this bar spontaneously while exploring Ohio City one spring day, and we have been captivated ever since. The concept of the bar is innovative, and their menu is consistently outstanding, featuring seasonal changes and custom cocktail recipes crafted by their own staff – a truly remarkable feature!! Additionally, the bar proudly showcases local Ohio brand liquors, beers, and IPAs, adding a distinctive touch to their offerings. The staff members are truly exceptional, embodying a delightful combination of professionalism and warmth. I must extend a special acknowledgment to Ethan, Noah, and, of course, the owner, Sam, who have made us feel like part of their extended family. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional drinks, and friendly staff, this establishment exceeds expectations on every front. What more could one ask for?!
Fantastic nightcap (or two). Delicious and uniquely inspired cocktails. Great conversation with bartender Noah. Cannot recommend this hidden gem highly enough.
Sometimes the drinks don’t live up to the vibes, but luckily The Hangar gives both. We went in for an after dinner drink and ended up staying and hanging out with Noah, who was so gracious and knowledgeable. The drinks were great, the space is intimate, and the overall feel was cozy and welcoming. Definitely coming back!
Local supporters of small business and artists. Super great staff and places to shop!
Fantastic place to drink. All local.
We went to the shops. Absolutely loved it. Will be doing some Christmas shopping here
Went here twice while on a work trip. Staff was very friendly and provided great suggestions on what to do in the area. Drinks were also unique and tasty
Remarkably poorly balanced (and small) cocktails for the price. A very appealing ménu, and an exceptionally charming space, but that’s all. We had a Perfect Martini riff (Jet Set) and a Boulevardier with rabarbaro (Cabin Pressure), both delicious cocktails at most places. A completely charmless bartender didn’t so much as apologize for being out of their Layover (interesting drink, with jalapeño honey). That was in keeping with no water, no cocktail napkin. And that all in no way adds up to over $40 with tip for two cocktails when there such good other choices literally within a block in either direction.
