The Halal Guys

The best falafel/hummus I've ever eaten. We just got falafel and hummus on pita but it was delicious. We also got the chocolate baklava cheesecake and OMG it was amazing. The restaurant itself was too hot but we got takeout so it wasn't so bad for the short-term. Vegetarian options: Falafel and hummus are great. Very flavorful options and sauces that are all vegetarian. Not plain at all. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Three or four stairs down to the door and no other entrances.

Wanted to get a quick meal before it’s time to break my fast and the food upset my stomach. The chicken doesn’t seem cooked at all very disappointed

Ordered from Uber Eats and had a completely random order sent with the receipt of our actual order. All the food was soggy and inedible, the packaging was disintegrating. No response from the restaurant, unable to contact them at all. Very disappointed with the service and food quality.

Whenever I am in New York. Halal Guys are a must. I had them a few times ordering online during my stay, well prices, delicious and perfect on a cold day. Part of a Travel Guru Life Expedition

Like many other Halal Guy faithfuls from the old days, I've held out that one day they'd return to the glory days of high quality, unmatched nyc street food. It was very clear after the franchising that the quality of the food went down drastically. From time to time while I was in the city I'd try them again hoping for different results, and for years, was still enjoying the overall experience, despite it not being the best halal food anymore. Today, marks the day when I officially give up on Halal Guys. I went into the 14th st store front close to opening and was served leftover cold chicken by high school kids. For $13 I would've rather had McDonald's and I can't stand most fast food.
