If you’re in or near the Austin area and you have not visited this location, you should treat yourself. If you’re from out of town, this should be a bucket list location for you to visit. Let me first talk about the ambience, beautiful! From the time you step into the restaurant, just gorgeous. The staff there makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed! If you are fortunate enough to get a seat on the outside, the view is breathtaking! They have flights of wines! We tried the fried oysters on chips, delicious! We also had the meatballs, delicious! The shrimp is delicious! Whatever you do, please save room for dessert, they have a butter cake there that will make you slap your mother! You will not be disappointed with this amazing place!

Third time revisiting the establishment and same outcome. Poor service and quality of food. Upon arrival and checking in for a table the hostesses are dressed like they are at home on the couch. No uniform or name tag to distinguish them from customers. Baggy pants and hoodies and slippers unbelieveable. Upon being seated at our table that was dirty we finally had a server come by so I asked kindly to wipe the table clean.. In doing so they used a wet table napkin no disinfectant was used. So finally we order our food. We know the pricing is high we expect it but the quality and amount t of food we got for 70.00 was insane. Two small water downed mushroom soups and two wedge salads and 2 cocktails To round out our visit we provided payment with a card using their card reader. This was left with us while the server walked off. After several minutes later and the payment was in still “processing mode”. Finally we got up to find someone and all the servers and manager were just hanging out at the hostess booth. This explains the reason why service is slow. No one was around. We tried giving this place a chance “multiple” and still falls low. Not sure how guests and owners view the establishment but obviously no one cares or has any expectations.

Great place for views and expensive wine. Pizza is always decent but nothing to write home about. Service is hit or miss.

We went to the Grove at Lakeway for an early dinner. We had the good fortune to sit by the windows overlooking the Hill Country. Our Waiter was truly outstanding. He has waited on us several times in the last few months. I can describe him In two words “Contagious Enthusiasm”. My wife ordered the beet salad, and I ordered two appetizers. The eggplant tempera and fried oysters. This meal was wonderful. This made for an enjoyable afternoon. We will definitely be back as this is now our “Go To” place in Lakeway.

Nichole was such an amazing waitress and gave really good recommendations since it was our first visit. We enjoyed the salmon salad and the hangover burger. The view out on the balcony is superb! Nichole was so kind, patient and friendly. Highly recommend this place for brunch
