The only thing this place has really going for it is the proximity to the beach and the views. The food was okay. We got a bowl of clam chowder and fish and chips, which they claim they are famous for. The fish was very flaky and moist, almost hard to pick up with a fork. The sides though - SO weird. They give you a tiny cup of cold peas (like why), and the coleslaw was honestly the worst coleslaw I’ve ever tasted. It was gray for starters, and has raisins in it. It almost tasted like it was made a week ago, left out on the counter for several hours and then refrigerated. Just weird. Also, witnessed very strange behavior from the staff. They let you choose your seat, but there was a few big parties, and when they went to choose seats, they were told they couldn’t sit there because they were expecting a different big party. Also saw a couple get served their food and the waitress when placing it down, said, “I’m not sure which one is which” and proceeded to stick her face, super close to the omelettes she was holding to get a better look. She still didn’t figure it out and had the customer stick his fork in it to find out. Our waiter was really hard to understand. He mumbled so badly and didn’t make eye contact. He also didn’t bring us our check until we asked after 15 minutes of sitting there twiddling our thumbs. The last strange thing I witnessed that I feel like I have to tell you all about is the dessert tray of just one of each dessert that sits at the front of the restaurant uncovered. We witnessed the wait staff, bring it around to a handful of different tables and ask if they wanted a dessert. Super weird lol! Overall, great location, but the service and menu needs serious help. Oh and sorry one more thing - WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Paid $42 for a bowl of soup and some fish lol.

If you’re reading this, you aren’t making the same mistake I did before coming here. You’re reading the reviews first. Take this as your fair warning. AVOID. Go somewhere else! We unfortunately picked this place because they had outdoor seating with umbrellas to shade from the sun, and the menu selection was acceptable. First warning: They don’t give you water in a glass without purchasing a bottle of water or Perrier. What?? There was a huge delay before the server returned to take food order. This was the 2nd warning. Time was already ticking. Lots of extra surcharges for cheese on burgers and substitutions. I wanted a salad instead of fries: I got a few leaves of lettuce with Italian dressing on it. Hardly a salad. My co-diner got a few paltry slices of pink, not red, tomatoes for also a substantial surcharge. All we ordered was two standard burgers. It took an HOUR to get said burgers. It wasn’t even busy. The restaurant was not full, and it was well past the lunch rush. We arrived after 3 pm. I had to go feed the parking meter two more times while we were here. It took so long to get our food, the shady seats we got when initially seated ended up being in full-on sun when we left. We overhead other tables also complaining about the wait. One table sent something back when a small side item they had ordered long ago finally arrived, stating, “We don’t even want that now.” Burgers were not good. They were obviously frozen patties, like something I could have bought from the wholesale club. In my opinion, it didn’t seem like fresh ground beef. In the end, we paid $44 + a small tip for two hamburgers, one with 3 tomato slices on the side, one with a few pieces of lettuce on the side posing as a salad, and two iced teas. With the parking meter already certainly expired, when the meal was over, I couldn’t afford to waste the better portion of ANOTHER hour to deal with asking for the check and going through that whole round trip ordeal with the credit card, so we simply ran to the register to pay directly in order to run to our car to avoid this horrendous experience from costing us an additional $60 or whatever this tourist trap of a town charges for parking violations. The clock on the wall behind their register says it all about their attitude: "Who Cares!". If it weren't for the tourists that have never experienced their awful service, they would not survive.

Find someplace else. Over-priced, mediocre food complete with terrible service. Get food elsewhere and sit on the beach.

Good selection of food, good portion size, spacious indoor, good food Cons: very tight outdoor space with fixed umbrellas that can not be moved to cover the sun! Kid-friendliness: Many options (American style) that kids like
