The Glass Knife

Sky was really great when we came with our baby. Very friendly and helpful.

It was the middle of the week, stress was high, and the urge for a quick sugar and caffeine need was making me need to do a quick stop. I was on this side of town, so a quick stop into the Glass Knife was it. Stepped in, chose to go with the strawberry French toast donut ($6) and a glass of milk ($3). They took my order and when I went to pay, was told that it would happen afterward. Sat down onto the long table setting because the other smaller tables were being used and a paper napkined fork and knife plus water were placed in front of me. After a minute or two, I was served the milk and donut. The donut was tasty, and the dough was soft and tasty and filled with a sweet jam. Why do you pay at the end? Of course, like everywhere else, that little credit card scanner comes out asking how much of a tip you would like to add on at the end for the show and tell part of the serving.

From the moment I stepped into The Glass House, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant's elegant décor and immaculate upkeep immediately set the stage for a delightful dining experience. However, it was the array of delectable desserts that truly stole the show. After hearing glowing recommendations, I couldn't resist trying the red velvet cake, and I'm so glad I did. Each bite was a heavenly combination of moist cake and luscious cream cheese frosting, leaving me craving more. It's no wonder this dessert comes highly recommended – it's a true standout. As I savored every bite of my red velvet cake, I couldn't help but plan my next visit to The Glass House. With such a tantalizing variety of desserts to choose from, I'm eager to explore more of their offerings and indulge in their sweet creations. The Glass House has certainly become a top contender for my go-to spot for satisfying my dessert cravings.

I have had their Carrot, Red Velvet and Cholate cakes and when I say this I mean their whole cakes and they were all good. But my favorite is the Coconut Cream Classic Cake. I have had many coconut cakes from bakeries here and theirs is by far the best in Orlando and it's what I mostly get from The Glass Knife. It's not available now unfortunately, but whenever it is, I never hesitate to get one.

The best donuts in town! Sky was the sweetest.

Sky was amazing. She was sweet and very attentive. The food was DELICIOUS and fast as we ordered and it took less than 5 mins to get it. Loved it here, but overall the customer service from Sky was the BEST! I will come back for sure.
