Third visit today and again, wow. Had the Sunday Roast, Chicken and Beef. Lovely hints of flavour added, not overpowering so still a roast dinner, but with a twist. The pistachio tiramisu was amazing. A lovely relaxed pub/restaurant with friendly staff. You can tell the care and love that creates the home cooked style here. Definitely our new go-to curry place.
Great food , different from your average Indian. Decent size portions. Something for everyone too. Definitely coming back again
Its generally a nice pub for a drink, however they have recently re-branded themselves as an "authentic" Indian restaurant also. Sadly this is not the case - You'll find a more authentic curry in your local Wetherspoons, you can tell everything's straight out the microwave despite their attempts to serve the food in authentic bowls etc. Still will be going in for a drink but I strongly advise giving the food a miss and going to a local curry house instead (there are plenty around)
We've eaten here a few times since it's been Ale and Aloo and each visit has been superb. The welcome, the food, the service is all top notch. I really can't fault anything! The butter chicken is one of the greatest things I've pushed into my face as well as the seekh kebabs!!
Love this place! Food is great and staff are all lovely.
