The Garden at the 704

I am so impressed with this place! The food exceeded my expectations and the service was great. I can’t wait to come back and try the pizza.

Food was OK, the hollandaise sauce was a tad heavy on lemon and the misto/calamari had the breading continually fall off. Service was kind of sub-par. Server/bartender referred to expensive and less expensive menus and overall didn’t see to be into waiting on our table.

Terrible service form the bar food is ok but the staff at the bar are terrible

The food and service were good, but you need to crank up the oven for the pizza . The crust was soft and undercooked . You have the thin crust, but a true north end pizza has crispy edges and is fast baked in a super hot oven..

I was disappointed with The Garden because I moved to Austin from Boston. The restaurant was not busy but service was wonky. Too long waiting for a glass of wine. I had lobster bisque (only soup available) and crostini. If I owned this place, I’d pay the chef to live in the Boston area and discover what Italian food is like there. And stop serving that bisque.

First, I want to say that the woman who took our order and saw to our table was awesome, friendly, and great with the kids. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing I have to say about this place. My pancakes were really dry and barely had any fruit on them. It took forever for the food to come out, almost an hour. They charged us an excessive amount for still water ($7 per check and we had our checks split into 3 parties so we paid $21 for WATER!). I would very much encourage anyone who's reading this to go elsewhere.

Great service, amazing food, atmosphere is a vibe! The Breakfast on a bun sandwich was one of the best breakfast meals I’ve ever had. Our waitress, Katie O, was very sweet and accommodating!

Good food. Solid not great service, but friendly. They did hook us up with a free item instead of tossing it out. Felt a bit pricey though. Would definitely give it another try.

Paid full price for trainee chefs that cooked food much worse than usual
